An analysis conducted by the company Soar has revealed the extent of damage sustained by Israeli occupation military bases during March as a result of Iranian strikes and attacks carried out by Hezbollah.
According to the Hebrew newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth, an analysis of satellite imagery published by Soar showed damage affecting several Israeli military bases across the occupied territories during the latest round of fighting, before the ceasefire came into effect last month.
Images captured by the Sentinel 2 satellite indicate that the Ramat David Airbase suffered damage in two separate areas during the war with Iran.
The imagery suggests that one of the damaged areas was apparently used for support vehicles and military equipment, while the second area functioned as a refuelling and maintenance point for fighter jets.
The images also revealed a sudden change in ground surface conditions in March near a building at the Mishar base belonging to Unit 8200 in Safed.
According to Soar’s analysis, the alteration in the terrain indicates a likely strike on the base between 5 and 10 March.
Additional images showed damage at a defensive site within Nevatim Air Base. The analysis stated that the damage became clearly visible at a small defensive position within the base on 25 March.
The latest image analysis also reviewed older high-resolution satellite imagery published in 2016, 2024, and 2025. These images showed that the large damaged area inside the base had been consistently used for various operational purposes, including the placement of military vehicles and logistical equipment.
The Hebrew newspaper’s report added that comparisons with previous documentation did not show the presence of dense vegetation at the site, indicating that the fire was caused by a strike on a vital area inside the base rather than the burning of grass or natural vegetation.
