Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has released previously unseen footage showing the launch of Shahed-136 and Shahed-238 drones towards American military positions during operations known as “Nasr 1”, “Nasr 2” and “Disciplining the Aggressor”.
The recordings show drones being launched from their platforms and striking positions and vessels at sea. However, the IRGC did not disclose the results of these strikes or provide details of the damage inflicted.

Iranian Military Operations Against US Forces
The operations were announced by the IRGC and Iran’s armed forces in July as part of an escalation in military confrontation with American forces and facilities across the region.
The military operations followed a war launched against Iran by the United States and Israel in late February, which left thousands of people dead.
Tehran responded with attacks targeting Israel and American military positions in several countries across the region, before a ceasefire was reached in April.
US-Iran Negotiations Stall Over the Strait of Hormuz
The United States subsequently launched further attacks against sites inside Iran as negotiations between Washington and Tehran reached an impasse, despite the two countries signing a memorandum of understanding in mid-June.
The diplomatic deadlock has been driven by disagreements over navigation through the Strait of Hormuz, one of the world’s most strategically important maritime corridors for the transportation of energy supplies and commercial goods.
