Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday shared an image of an election billboard displayed on a street in Tel Aviv featuring several figures, including Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani.
The billboard, placed by Netanyahu’s Likud party as part of its election campaign, carried the message: “They want Netanyahu to lose. Don’t let them win.”
It also featured Hezbollah Secretary-General Naim Qassem and Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei.
Netanyahu reposted the image with the comment: “Don’t let them win.”
The four figures were presented by Likud as among the most prominent opponents of the Israeli prime minister, who oversaw the genocidal war on the Gaza Strip that has killed more than 73,000 Palestinians.
Likud has intensified its election campaigning as competition grows ahead of the 27 October vote, with Gadi Eisenkot emerging as a candidate seeking to unseat Netanyahu.
