The Islamic Resistance carried out a series of operations targeting Israeli occupation military positions and troop deployments in southern Lebanon on Saturday.
At 16:50, Resistance fighters targeted a gathering of Israeli occupation soldiers in the town of Adaisseh with artillery shells.
Earlier, at 16:00, the Resistance shelled another concentration of Israeli occupation troops in the vicinity of Beaufort Castle using artillery fire.
At 13:50, Resistance fighters confronted an Israeli Hermes 450 “Zik” drone operating in the skies over the town of Shaqra by launching a surface-to-air missile, forcing the aircraft to retreat.
Drone and Artillery Strikes
At 04:10 on Saturday morning, the Islamic Resistance targeted a gathering of Israeli occupation soldiers near Beaufort Castle using an attack drone.
The Resistance also announced that it had targeted the Yiftah artillery position belonging to the Israeli occupation military at 03:45 using an attack drone.
Earlier, at 03:20, an attack drone struck a newly established artillery position in the vicinity of Wadi Hunin opposite the Lebanese town of Markaba.
According to the Resistance, a newly established artillery site in Adaisseh was targeted at 02:30 using two attack drones. The same position was struck again at 02:50 with an additional attack drone.
Israeli Drones Forced to Withdraw
The Resistance also announced that at 8:30 p.m. on Friday, its fighters confronted an Israeli Heron 1 drone operating over the Rihan region with a surface-to-air missile, forcing it to retreat.
Earlier, the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon announced two separate operations targeting Israeli occupation troop concentrations and military vehicles that had advanced into Lebanese territory.
Response to Israeli Violations
The operations come as part of the Islamic Resistance’s ongoing efforts to confront Israeli attempts to infiltrate Lebanese territory.
The Resistance said the operations were also carried out in response to Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement, attacks against civilians, and the continued shelling of Lebanese towns and villages, particularly in southern Lebanon and the Bekaa region.
