The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon, Hezbollah, carried out a series of concentrated and coordinated military operations against Israeli occupation forces, as part of its commitment to defending Lebanon and its people. The operations also came in response to continued Israeli violations of the ceasefire and ongoing attacks on villages in southern Lebanon, which have resulted in civilian casualties and injuries.
Precision Strikes Target Occupation Troops and Military Assets
At 5:20 pm Beirut time, resistance fighters launched precision missile strikes against gatherings of Israeli occupation soldiers and military vehicles on the outskirts of Yahmar Al Shaqif and in the town of Zawtar Al Sharqiya, delivering what the resistance described as a firm response to continued aggression.
Earlier in the day, at 1:40 pm, the resistance targeted the newly established Israeli military position at Blat with a specialised missile.
As clashes intensified, resistance fighters struck a concentration of Israeli troops and vehicles in Al Bayyada at 2:30 pm with a missile barrage. Ten minutes later, the same target was shelled with artillery fire. At 2:45 pm, heavy artillery targeted another gathering of occupation soldiers and military vehicles in the town of Shamaa.
Drone Operations and Confirmed Vehicle Hits
The operations continued throughout the day.
At 10:30 am, a missile barrage targeted Israeli troops and vehicles in the town of Rashaf. Simultaneously, a second Israeli Merkava tank in Zawtar Al Sharqiya was struck by an Ababil drone, with the resistance reporting a confirmed direct hit.
In one of the day’s notable drone operations, resistance fighters successfully targeted a Nimera military vehicle in Al Qantara at 8:45 am using a loitering Ababil drone. This was followed at 9:15 am by another confirmed strike on a Merkava tank near the pond area of Zawtar Al Sharqiya using a similar attack drone.
Early Morning Operations
At 4:15 am, resistance fighters launched a missile barrage against a gathering of Israeli soldiers and military vehicles in Al Qantara.
Fifteen minutes later, a heavy missile targeted a building used as the command post of an armoured company near the reservoir in Zawtar Al Sharqiya.
The operations had begun shortly after midnight. At 12:30 am Beirut time, a missile barrage targeted Israeli military vehicles near the hall area in Al Qusayr. This was followed at 2:00 am by another strike on a gathering of occupation troops and vehicles in Zawtar Al Sharqiya.
