The military media wing of the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon has released footage titled: “The Lowering of the Israeli Occupation Flag in the Town of Al Bayyada in Southern Lebanon Using a Suicide Drone.”
The footage included a map identifying the headquarters of the Israeli Army’s 226th Brigade in the town, alongside scenes from previous resistance operations targeting the site and its surroundings over recent days. These operations included attacks on a Hummer vehicle at the entrance to the headquarters, Israeli combat intelligence soldiers on the road leading to the site, a drone control system, surveillance and monitoring cameras, and technical equipment located inside the compound.
The resistance stated that the repeated strikes forced Israeli occupation forces to evacuate the headquarters building on 11 May 2026.
It added that Israeli forces “left behind the flag of their occupying entity above the headquarters”, noting that the resistance subsequently targeted the flag directly using a suicide drone in order to lower it.
On Friday, the Israeli military announced that the coastal strip area of Rosh HaNikra in northern occupied Palestine had been declared a closed military zone, with entry prohibited due to repeated resistance operations in the area.
On Monday, Israeli broadcaster Kan 11 reported that “part of the offensive plans, operations, and missions that were supposed to be carried out are either being cancelled or postponed because of the threat posed by Hezbollah explosive drones”.
According to the channel, an Israeli military assessment concluded that Hezbollah explosive drones are “restricting nearly 70 percent of the operational freedom of Israeli forces in southern Lebanon”.
The Islamic Resistance continues to target Israeli occupation forces in what it describes as a natural response to repeated Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement reached on 17 April.
