Hebrew social media accounts reported on Monday that Israeli occupation soldiers have resorted to using dummy figures dressed in military uniforms in an attempt to reduce attacks by Hezbollah drones, which have increasingly drained and pressured Israeli forces on the ground.
Images circulated by the soldiers showed a mannequin seated on a chair inside a house in southern Lebanon, dressed in Israeli military clothing to deceive Hezbollah drone operators into targeting the decoy instead of real troops.
The move comes amid a growing series of drone operations carried out by Hezbollah against Israeli occupation forces operating near the Lebanese border.
Over recent days, Hezbollah has released multiple videos showing precision drone surveillance and direct strikes targeting Israeli soldiers after tracking their movements. The footage showed several attacks landing directly on troops and causing casualties among occupation forces.
