The Israeli Mossad employs multiple strategies to infiltrate Arab and Muslim societies — not only within the Arabian Peninsula but also across global Muslim and Arab diaspora communities; one of these strategies is Tel Aviv Islamic University.
Wherever one goes, one might unknowingly encounter a Mossad operative — perhaps the person at a café table nearby, a colleague at a job interview, or even someone behind a “friendly” social media account.
At times, it is none other than Avichay Adraee, the spokesperson of the Israeli army, addressing Muslims online in fluent Arabic, quoting hadith and Qur’anic verses, attempting to twist Islamic principles into propaganda tools.
But Mossad’s reach goes even further — into academia itself. One of its most deceptive and dangerous tools is a project few have heard of: the so-called “Tel Aviv Islamic University”, founded in the late 1950s — a Mossad-controlled institution designed not to teach Islam, but to manufacture and train pseudo-Islamic preachers and scholars who serve Zionist objectives.
A Mossad Project Disguised as Islamic Scholarship
Established under the direct supervision of Israeli intelligence, the Tel Aviv Islamic University is a closed institution admitting only Jewish students.
Each student and faculty member is carefully vetted, often with direct ties to Mossad, and every subject taught is meticulously designed to serve strategic intelligence and ideological purposes.
Officially, the university describes itself — in Hebrew — as “a special incubator for interfaith dialogue and Islamic studies.”
Its curriculum covers Islamic law, Arabic culture, and comparative theology, yet its underlying aim is to re-engineer the study of Islam through a Zionist interpretive lens.
Courses include:
- “Zionism and Israel through the Islamic Perspective”
- “Fundamentals of Shia Political Islam”
- “Theological Studies of Muhammad Baqir al-Sadr”
- “Jewish–Islamic Relations”
- “Islamic Law and Creed in Europe”
- “Palestinian Dialects and Sociolinguistic Behaviour”
- “Translation from Arabic to Hebrew — From Robinson Crusoe to Harry Potter: Challenges in Translating Western Narratives”
- “Society and Religion through Literature and Cinema.”
Beneath these academic titles lies a systematic effort to distort Islamic theology, reshape historical truth, and train Jewish graduates who will later pose as Muslim scholars, preachers, or imams.
Tel Aviv Islamic University | Training “Missionary Agents” in Islamic Appearance
This covert academic program is part of a long-term Mossad plan to weaponise culture and religion — not only through military and intelligence recruitment, but also through ideological and social infiltration.
To achieve that, Mossad follows a detailed multi-phase system:
- Psychological and sociological experts supervise each recruit’s training — covering communication, theology, and social engineering.
- Each “preacher” must be prepared to engage with Muslims naturally and fluently.
- The Mossad molds their identity: their Arabic fluency, manner of speech, Islamic attire, and even names — e.g., Abu Mus‘ab al-Shishani or Abu Junaid al-Shamali.
- Training lasts for years, covering Islamic jurisprudence, creed, and Arabic language, enabling them to issue fatwas and appear as genuine scholars.
- Every graduate maintains direct operational ties with Mossad and receives high-level intelligence training.
One striking example is Benjamin Ephraim, who posed as Imam Abu Hafs in Libya before his Mossad identity was exposed.
These individuals can later emerge as leaders of militant groups, issuing fabricated fatwas and manipulating religious emotions to sow division — a phenomenon visible during the so-called Arab Spring, when some “preachers” issued rulings that conveniently aligned with Israeli interests.
From Propaganda to Psychological Warfare
Mossad’s infiltration is not limited to politics or espionage — it extends deep into the intellectual and cultural fabric of Muslim societies.
By studying Islamic history and Arabic culture, Israeli intelligence builds the ability to reshape narratives and implant doubt in the Muslim consciousness.
The ultimate goal: to Judaise Islam intellectually, presenting Israeli narratives as “moderate” or “rational” alternatives to authentic Islamic resistance.
This strategy, however, has largely failed to fracture the unity of the Ummah, despite Israel’s attempts across Libya, Egypt, Iraq, Syria, and other Muslim-majority states since 2011. The enduring solidarity among Muslims has frustrated Israel’s plans — just as its military and intelligence failures in Gaza exposed the cracks in its power.
Mossad’s Plan to “Hebraise” Islamic Studies via the Tel Aviv Islamic University
The 2014 pedagogical report of Israel’s Council for Higher Education reveals the intellectual foundation of this scheme. The report demanded greater focus on Arabic linguistics as a gateway to understanding “Islamic spirit,” and recommended including Palestinian dialects in the Arabic curriculum to better study “Palestinian society.”

It also encouraged Jewish students in Islamic Studies to actively use Arabic — reading, writing, and speaking — under the pretext of “enhancing interfaith understanding.” The real goal, however, is to train a generation of Hebrew-speaking experts in Islamic discourse, capable of influencing global media and religious debate in ways that favour Israel.
Within Tel Aviv Islamic University, special emphasis is placed on comparative religion, which the Mossad regards as the “ideal tool” to demonstrate the “superiority of Jewish civilisation.”
The Hidden University in the Heart of Tel Aviv
Deceptively titled, the “Islamic University of Tel Aviv” sits in the heart of Israel’s capital — a poison wrapped in honey. It boasts impressive facilities for teaching Qur’an, Hadith, Fiqh, and Arabic studies, yet every professor and student is Jewish, and every research program is designed to serve Israeli geopolitical and cultural agendas.
Founded on June 6, 1956, the university’s evolution spanned over a decade. Its alumni — all Jewish — later appear across the Muslim world disguised as imams, scholars, or spiritual guides. They host television programs, lead mosques, teach in Islamic universities, and deliver sermons — fluent in Arabic dialects, funded generously, and carefully positioned to gain trust and spread distortion.
These operatives are trained to blend seamlessly into local environments, adopting names like Sheikh Yusuf al-Maghribi, Yusuf al-Hijazi, or Abu Abdullah al-Iraqi.
Their mission is clear: to divide Muslims, distort theology, and corrupt Islamic thought from within — all while appearing as devout and eloquent believers.
The Ongoing Conspiracy Against Islam
The Zionist project’s intellectual war against Islam — stretching from the tribes of Khaybar and Banu Nadir in the Prophet’s time to Mossad’s modern ideological warfare — continues under new names and faces. What Ka‘b ibn al-Ashraf once plotted in Medina, Avichay Adraee now repeats from Tel Aviv — both serving the same deceit under the cloak of dialogue, modernity, and “peaceful coexistence.”
Though technology and tactics evolve, the essence of the conspiracy remains unchanged: to dismantle Islamic unity, falsify historical truth, and manipulate faith for political domination.
Yet, as history continues to prove, the Ummah’s awareness and steadfastness remain stronger than Mossad’s deception.
The more Israel invests in distortion, the more truth exposes it.
