Iran’s Chief of the General Staff, Major General Ali Abdollahi, has warned the United States and Israel that any further miscalculation would trigger a military response more severe and destructive than previous operations, declaring that the next explosion would be closer, more devastating and impossible to trace.
In remarks carried by Iranian media, Abdollahi accused Washington and Tel Aviv of making threats they lacked the ability to fulfil, warning that both now faced the possibility of destruction and collapse.
“The United States and Israel are incapable of carrying out the threats they make, and today they face the danger of destruction and downfall,” Abdollahi said.
The Iranian military chief also directed a personal criticism at US President Donald Trump, declaring that the American leader had grown old and was no longer capable of rising from his seat.
Abdollahi reiterated that any new error in judgment by the United States or Israel would be met with a different and considerably more forceful response than those delivered in previous military confrontations.
“Any new miscalculation will be met with responses that are different and more severe than before,” he warned.
Concluding his remarks with a warning of further military escalation, Abdollahi declared:
“The sound of the next explosion is now much closer, and it will be more destructive and untraceable.”
The statements amounted to a warning from Iran’s senior military leadership that further American or Israeli military action could provoke retaliation exceeding the scale and intensity of previous Iranian operations.
