New satellite images have revealed the extent of damage to several military and nuclear sites across Iran after restrictions were lifted on more than a quarter of a million high-resolution satellite images that had previously been withheld from publication.
The images were captured by US company Vantor between 21 and 30 June 2026. They show significant differences in the level of visible activity at Iranian nuclear facilities linked to uranium enrichment in Natanz, Fordow and Isfahan following the strikes that targeted them.
Images Show Damage Across Multiple Strategic Sites
According to military intelligence company Janes, the newly available imagery reveals a wide range of targets that were struck, including Iranian ammunition storage areas, ballistic missile infrastructure, nuclear sites, surface-to-air missile systems and naval bases.
Analysis of the images found no signs of extensive reconstruction work or significant recent changes within the main enrichment complex at Natanz. However, vehicle and truck movements continued near the entrances to tunnels at the neighbouring Pickaxe Mountain complex.
Extensive Damage Reported Around Bushehr
Around the coastal city of Bushehr, satellite imagery shows that several sites have been damaged or completely destroyed since 9 March, according to Janes, which documented visible damage to military buildings and government facilities.
The images show the roofs of several buildings collapsed, while some structures appear to have been completely flattened. Other imagery shows destroyed aircraft and sunken vessels. The damaged sites belong to the Iranian government and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
Explosion craters are also visible on several aircraft runways, including runways at Bushehr International Airport. Some of the damage was later repaired.
In areas identified as military zones on digital mapping platforms such as OpenStreetMap, almost all buildings were destroyed.
Jeremy Binnie, a defence and Middle East specialist at Janes, said the scale of the damage was consistent with statements by the United States and Tel Aviv that a broad campaign of strikes had been carried out.
According to Binnie, the campaign targeted not only deployed forces but also the infrastructure supporting them.
Military Infrastructure Damaged in Isfahan
Satellite images taken over Isfahan province, which contains two nuclear facilities, also reveal the scale of damage to military infrastructure.
According to Janes, buildings identified as an ammunition storage area belonging to an air base were damaged at Iran’s 8th Shekari Air Base.
