The Israeli Health Ministry has released updated casualty figures related to Operation Rising Lion, reporting seven new injuries since its previous update issued on Saturday.
According to hospital data published by the ministry, a total of 8,916 casualties were admitted to Israeli hospitals between 28 February and 30 May at 11:55 pm.
More Than 1,000 Casualties on the Northern Front
The latest figures show that 1,015 casualties were recorded in Israeli hospitals from the northern front alone following the ceasefire with Iran.
The data also indicates that 600 casualties were registered in Israeli hospitals from the northern front after the ceasefire agreement with Lebanon came into effect.
Casualties Continue to Rise
The number of casualties among Israeli forces continues to increase as the Islamic Resistance maintains its operations in southern Lebanon and northern occupied Palestine.
During the night hours on Saturday, Israeli media reported what it described as “serious incidents” along the border with Lebanon, indicating that several Israeli soldiers were killed and wounded.
Meanwhile, Israeli broadcaster i24NEWS reported on Saturday that shelling from Lebanon was ongoing and noted that rockets had been launched towards Nahariya for the first time in three weeks.
