In a dramatic shift that signals a new phase in the regional confrontation, Iranian forces have launched Haj Qassem ballistic missiles toward military targets in Tel Aviv, marking the first publicly acknowledged use of this missile in direct warfare. Named after the late commander Qassem Soleimani, the missile is part of Iran’s tactical ballistic arsenal and is distinguished by:

While the Israeli regime has yet to officially disclose the extent of the damage, local media sources report heavy destruction at a military facility south of Tel Aviv. The Zionist government remains silent under strict censorship orders, even as political circles within the occupation spiral into anxious anticipation of further Iranian strikes.
A Wave of Retaliation Shakes the Zionist Entity
On Sunday at dawn, a fresh wave of Iranian rockets struck multiple sites near Tel Aviv, killing at least one Israeli woman and injuring over 120 others, including 10 in critical condition. More than 40 individuals remain missing as emergency teams continue to assess the damage.
Israeli Channel 13 confirmed that a woman in Bat Yam, just south of Tel Aviv, was killed when a missile struck residential buildings directly. Channel 12 added that 20 more Israelis were wounded in Bat Yam and Rehovot, with three in critical condition. One of the strikes leveled an entire building in central Israel, according to the report.
An estimated 50 missiles were fired in this latest Iranian barrage, causing a wave of explosions across the central region. Israeli newspaper Maariv confirmed that six direct hits were recorded in Tel Aviv and its suburbs.
The Zionist military has sounded emergency sirens across the country and urged settlers to remain in shelters. Channel 14 reported that most impacts were concentrated in Bat Yam and Rehovot. It also confirmed the detection of a ballistic missile launched from Yemen toward central Israel in parallel with the Iranian assault.
Tel Aviv’s Aggression and Tehran’s Response
On Saturday evening, Iran launched a seventh missile wave, resulting in more casualties and damage, even as Tel Aviv intensified air raids on Tehran and various Iranian provinces. The Zionist regime targeted key infrastructure, including nuclear facilities, oil refineries, and gas stations, in an attempt to cripple Iran’s capabilities.
The initial Israeli attack began early Friday, when, with implicit support from the United States, the occupation launched its largest-ever offensive on Iran — dubbed “Rising Lion.” Dozens of fighter jets bombarded Iranian missile bases, nuclear installations, and assassinated high-ranking military leaders and nuclear scientists.
According to the Israeli military, the strike was a “preemptive operation” initiated by the political leadership. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claimed the objective was to “neutralize Iran’s nuclear infrastructure, ballistic missile factories, and other critical military capabilities.”
In response, Iran unleashed a series of retaliatory strikes, deploying both ballistic missiles and drones in seven separate waves, resulting in casualties, panic, and large-scale structural damage across occupied territory.
Hebrew media has described a “very serious incident” in Tel Aviv following an Iranian missile that struck a strategic military site. However, details remain tightly restricted due to the regime’s military censorship.

This escalation marks the largest Israeli attack on Iran to date, and more importantly, it signifies the collapse of the “shadow war” doctrine. What was once a series of covert assassinations and bombings has erupted into a full-scale military confrontation, the likes of which the region hasn’t seen in years.
