Despite claims by the Israeli occupation that it has resumed allowing humanitarian aid into Gaza, nothing has changed for the over 2 million Palestinians facing one of the worst hunger crises in modern history.
Israel has attempted to dodge international scrutiny and pressure by giving the illusion that aid is flowing into Gaza, but the truth on the ground tells a very different story.
Since March 2, the Israeli regime has imposed a total blockade on Gaza, preventing the entry of food, medicine, and fuel. The result? Mass starvation, disease, and widespread human suffering—while Tel Aviv continues to manipulate the narrative for the global stage.
Minimal Aid, Maximum Deception
Under mounting Western and international pressure, the Israeli government allowed a small convoy of trucks to enter Gaza on Tuesday. Fewer than 100 trucks—mostly carrying flour—crossed the border. That’s a tiny fraction of what’s actually needed.
Ismail Al-Thawabta, Director of the Government Media Office in Gaza, told Arabi21:
“Israel is spreading blatant lies when it speaks of so-called ‘humanitarian facilitations’ or ‘aid deliveries’. The truth on the ground completely contradicts their propaganda.”
He explained that the minuscule volume of aid proves how disingenuous Israeli claims are. The supplies that entered would not last a single day—let alone address more than 80 consecutive days of famine, disease, and total deprivation.
“Israel isn’t delivering aid. It is committing a calculated war crime by starving civilians, especially children. Food and medicine are being used as weapons of genocide.”
Just 87 Trucks in 80 Days
During more than 80 days of complete siege, only 87 aid trucks have entered Gaza. That’s less than 1% of the 44,000 trucks that were supposed to come through to meet the bare minimum humanitarian needs of Gaza’s 2.4 million people.

Has Any Aid Reached Northern Gaza?
According to Al-Thawabta, no aid entered Gaza on Thursday, and no shipments have reached northern Gaza, the area most devastated by starvation and military assault.
The full blockade continues, and Israel is deliberately denying aid to the hardest-hit areas, including the north—in blatant violation of international humanitarian law. Yet, the world remains largely silent.
What Does Gaza Really Need Daily?
To even begin to avert famine, Gaza needs at least 500 aid trucks per day, including food, water, and medical supplies—plus 50 fuel trucks daily to sustain hospitals, bakeries, and clean water production.
With only a handful of trucks allowed in, the humanitarian catastrophe deepens. According to official health figures:

Gaza’s Moral Stand Against Chaos
Despite Israeli attempts to sow chaos during aid distribution—by exploiting the hunger and disabling local security forces—the people of Gaza responded with discipline and unity.
Al-Thawabta explained:
“Israel’s plan failed completely. Our people stood as one—guarding the trucks, preventing looting or disorder, even as they faced starvation.”
Tribal leaders, community elders, and local committees joined together to organise aid distribution, showcasing a powerful display of solidarity, dignity, and national consciousness.
Gaza’s people refused to descend into chaos, and in doing so, they shattered the occupation’s narrative.
“Israel wants to portray Gaza as a land of anarchy and lawlessness,” Al-Thawabta said. “But what they saw instead was a people of strength, order, and honour—protecting the aid they desperately need and defending their unity in the face of genocide.”
