The Military Media of the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon – Hezbollah released Monday a new video revealing some of its strategic military capabilities, including large facilities dedicated to the Resistance’s drone air force and showcasing various types of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
Under the title “Our Capabilities Are in Excellent Shape,” the footage depicts members of Hezbollah’s drone air force preparing different reconnaissance and attack drones for launch. The video captures the process from the drones being taken out of storage to being prepped and tested in the field before being launched toward enemy targets.
For the first time, Hezbollah displayed a drone armed with missiles ready for launch. The video also prominently featured large images of Hezbollah Secretary-General martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and martyred military commander Fouad Shokor to pay homage to their contributions.
By releasing this video, Hezbollah effectively counters Israeli claims of having successfully struck the resistance’s strategic capabilities, particularly its drone air force.
The video’s release comes less than 24 hours after Hezbollah carried out a significant attack on a gathering of Israeli soldiers at one of their secret bases in Binyamina, south of Haifa. The precision strike left dozens of Israeli soldiers dead or wounded, delivering a shocking blow to the Israeli military and political leadership.
‘Israel’ not targeting Hezbollah arsenal
The head of Media Relations for Hezbollah, Mohammad Afif, held a press conference on Friday in the Southern Suburb of Beirut, an area deeply affected by the Israeli occupation’s aggression on Lebanon, and praised Lebanese journalists for their resilience in reporting Israeli crimes, particularly those working in South Lebanon.
Afif commended the bravery of journalists and correspondents in conveying the truth amid intense Israeli censorship aimed at hiding its losses from Hezbollah’s successful retaliatory strikes.
Afif criticized certain local media outlets for promoting Israeli narratives as part of a psychological war against Hezbollah, its people, and allies. He expressed disappointment over the Lebanese government’s inaction toward these outlets, which broadcast Israeli propaganda.
He dismissed Israeli claims of Hezbollah weapon depots as baseless, adding that the occupation forces were preventing rescue operations for those trapped under the rubble, particularly in Mreijeh, under US pressure, particularly from the ambassador.
The top Hezbollah official went on to condemn Israeli attacks on Beirut as a continuation of its broader crimes across the country and called out the international community’s silence over the assault on UN forces in the south.
