The spokesperson for the Israeli occupation army released figures detailing military operations carried out against Lebanon’s Hezbollah over the past year, marking one full year since the open confrontation began.
According to the official statement, the data was presented to highlight the scale of alleged losses inflicted on Hezbollah, including military, leadership, and infrastructure damage.
Claimed Israeli Operations
The occupation army claimed it had conducted approximately 9,800 strikes on various targets, including thousands of short-range rocket launchers, weapons and ammunition depots, and Hezbollah command centres.
It further alleged that more than 85,000 weapons and munitions had been seized, and over 1,100 underground structures destroyed near the northern border.
Human Losses According to the Occupation’s Narrative
On the human level, the military spokesperson asserted that air raids and special operations resulted in the killing of between 4,000 and 5,000 Hezbollah fighters and field commanders, including senior figures, while around 9,000 others were wounded and rendered unable to fight.
The statement also claimed that these strikes “caused severe damage to Hezbollah’s chain of command,” from its Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah down to lower field levels — allegedly reducing the group’s battlefield effectiveness.
Targeting Hezbollah’s Rocket Capabilities
According to the Israeli narrative, Hezbollah’s firepower suffered “severe losses,” with 70–80% of its short-range rocket launchers destroyed, supposedly neutralising a large portion of the missile force that threatens the occupied territories.
The occupation army further claimed that its operations completely foiled what it described as Hezbollah’s “Galilee Occupation Plan,” a large-scale offensive allegedly intended against Israel.
Post-Ceasefire Operations
Since the latest ceasefire agreement took effect, the occupation army stated it has continued its security and intelligence activities, including the assassination of more than 300 additional Hezbollah members and strikes on over 300 military targets. The 91st Division, stationed along the northern border, reportedly carried out more than 1,000 raids and operations in the forward defensive zone.
