Since the outlines of what became known as the “Deal of the Century” first emerged, the United Arab Emirates has never been far from its details. The UAE has been one of the main regional players embracing, promoting, and entrenching the plan, fully aligning itself with Israel’s broader strategy to reshape the Middle East to its advantage.
Back then, Abu Dhabi’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed was not just briefed on the plan — he was among its earliest believers, working to transform what began as an Israeli-American vision into a regional reality imposed by new facts on the ground.
2019: A Turning Point
In 2019, during closed-door meetings at Abu Dhabi’s royal court, Mohammed bin Zayed received a detailed presentation from the State Security team. The presentation outlined a strategic blueprint drafted by a joint Israeli-American committee at the “Zionist Institute for National Security” in Tel Aviv. Its title was explicit: “A Middle East After Comprehensive Settlement” — a working title that later became the unofficial name for the Deal of the Century.
A Plan of Demographic and Political Engineering
The plan’s core rested on four stark pillars:
- No Palestinian majority within historic Palestine — whether in the West Bank, inside 1948 territories, or Gaza.
- No Arab governments opposing Israel’s existence or its regional agenda.
- No disputed borders — only final borders defined to Israel’s benefit.
- A new regional leadership fronted by Tel Aviv, gradually granted Arab legitimacy.
In plain terms, the “new Middle East” envisioned by this plan is one stripped of all meaningful resistance — a region pacified and subdued under undisputed Israeli dominance, with Arab states subordinated to the power of wealth and foreign influence.
Mohammed bin Zayed: From Observer to Key Partner
In those same closed sessions, Mohammed bin Zayed did not object to the plan’s points; instead, he saw them as a strategic opportunity to reshape regional alliances, especially amid what he viewed as American retreat from the region and Israel’s guaranteed rise under US protection.
As talk of the Deal of the Century gathered momentum, bin Zayed began moving his levers of influence: opening secret channels with Israeli leadership, launching a PR campaign promoting “peace for prosperity,” and initiating a “cold normalisation” through economic and cultural avenues — all culminating in the formal normalisation announcement of August 2020 under the Abraham Accords.
The 2021 Document: Securing Political and Security Alignment
A classified document dated May 2021, later leaked by informed sources, laid bare the depth of the UAE’s involvement. One line summed it up:
“The equation is clear: Israel wants land without Palestinians and states that listen and obey. To achieve this, Iran must be struck first — and allies must choose their sides.”
The UAE’s response was swift: a full alignment behind Tel Aviv, lobbying for the plan across Morocco, Bahrain, and Egypt, and repeatedly nudging Riyadh to follow suit. While Saudi Arabia has aligned on many fronts, it has so far kept a calculated distance from the full vision of this “new Middle East.”
Forced Displacement Disguised as ‘Relief’
Nowhere is the plan’s most brutal face clearer than in Gaza. The border crossings have become corridors for forced displacement under the guise of “humanitarian aid.” Reconstruction terms have been weaponised to reshape the demographic balance and ensure that tens of thousands of displaced Palestinians never return to their destroyed homes.
The UAE, which has long positioned itself at the forefront of “Gaza reconstruction” after previous wars, is now playing the same role but with new mechanisms: conditional projects, security interventions, and direct dealings with Israel, bypassing any legitimate Palestinian authority.
Beyond Gaza: Containing the West Bank, ‘Arabising’ Israel
Israel’s plan did not stop at Gaza’s gates. Subsequent phases included:
- Shrinking the West Bank through expanding settlements and tightening security controls.
- Systematically emptying Palestinian areas of their native populations using economic and political pressure.
- Pushing Palestinian citizens of Israel toward “voluntary migration” amid incitement and restrictions.
- “Arabising” Israel’s image — presenting itself as a legitimate regional power speaking the language of the Arab street and embedding itself in key Islamic and Arab centres of influence.
The Iran War: No Surprise for Abu Dhabi
When the wider confrontation with Iran erupted, it did not catch Mohammed bin Zayed off guard. He was deeply involved in the groundwork and, according to insiders, one of the strongest backers of this decisive step to redraw the region’s map.
For Israel and the UAE, Iran remains the final barrier to total Israeli hegemony — the last major force capable of disrupting the new order.
Palestinians Pushed Aside as the Map Is Redrawn
Amid all of this, Palestinians have been pushed to the margins. New borders are being drawn over their heads; their fate dictated without their participation.
For Mohammed bin Zayed, the bet is to reengineer the Palestinian cause to serve Israel’s new “peace order” — fragmenting the Palestinian people into isolated, powerless groups with fractured leadership and minimal influence.
The UAE’s role in Israel’s grand scheme is no passing tactic — it is part of a strategic vision that bin Zayed openly champions: reshaping the region’s future on Israel’s terms in exchange for a privileged seat at the new regional table. The price? Palestine itself — the cause willingly traded by some for a “new legitimacy” inked in the shadow of occupation.
The UAE gave a lot in common with Israel. Both are tiny lands with grand Dreams of expansionist aspirations. They both have atheist leaders who fund extremists groups in the region, so to see the together is no surprise. In fact all the ME leaders are closest Zionists – 100, including Qatar. These so called nations are nothing more than tiny fiefdoms who have decided that they are financially invincible and thus politically influential. To side with the Zionists is an alliance that will bring about their own demise – no one who sides with the devil, ever comes away defiled and humiliated by Allah Subhaanhu Watallah. These egregious and double crossing leaders will pay the price that all duplicitous, treacherous individuals have paid according to our rich source of divine Revelation. Ramases was spat out of the sea as nothing on this earth could bear to hold his evil carcass. And so will be the case of all those who commit such evil on their own people and take their evil plans to other nations ( Sudan, Somalia, Ethiopia) to fulfil their hegemonic lust.
Where are all the Arabs in the plight faced by Palestinians? All busy positioning themselves to gain the devil’s favour as you had described.
