Hezbollah has issued a preliminary statement regarding the Israeli attack against a residential building in Beirut’s southern suburb, revealing that its senior leader Fouad Shokor was inside at the time of the raid.
Civil defense crews have been diligently working to remove the rubble from the attack, slowly but meticulously, given the condition of the debris, the statement read.

“We are still awaiting the outcome of this operation to determine the fate of the esteemed and dear commander and other citizens in this location, so that appropriate actions can be taken accordingly,” Hezbollah concluded.
An Israeli strike targeted a residential building in the Haret Hreik neighborhood of the Southern Suburb of Beirut on Tuesday evening, destroying a substantial section of the structure.
The strike comes after continuous threats by Israeli occupation officials of a substantial aggression on Lebanon, since Saturday.
At least one civilian, a woman, was killed and 68 others were wounded in the Israeli aggression on Haret Hreik the Lebanese Health Ministry reported.
Among the injured, five are in critical condition, while the rest of the injuries range between moderate and minor, the ministry added.
