The Israeli media released footage allegedly showing Palestinian prisoners from Gaza in a “humiliating” position in front of a board with the Israeli occupation flag and a portion of a Quranic verse.
The scenes, shared by Israeli Channel 12, depict the prisoners sitting blindfolded in a crouched position in front of a board displaying both the Israeli occupation flag and the “Givati” brigade insignia. The footage also includes a frame featuring part of the Quranic verse from Surah Al-Ankabut: “(فَأَخَذَهُمُ الطُّوفَانُ وَهُمْ ظَالِمُونَ),” which means: and the flood seized them while they were wrongdoers, referencing the “Al-Aqsa Flood” operation carried out by the resistance on October 7 last year.

The Israeli channel claimed that the scenes were from the Khan Yunis area, also showcasing parts of the Israeli military operations in the southern Gaza Strip and demolition operations of homes.
Over the past two weeks, the Israeli military intensified its operations in Khan Yunis, encircling and besieging hospitals, leading to a new wave of displacement among Palestinians.
It is worth noting that since October 7, 2023, the Israeli occupation forces have been waging a destructive war on the Gaza Strip, resulting in 26,751 martyrs and 65,636 injuries, mostly children and women, and causing unprecedented destruction and a humanitarian catastrophe.
