The Israeli occupation is set to receive a massive shipment of U.S. air munitions—over 3,000 precision-guided bombs and missiles—as part of its preparations to continue the war on Gaza and potentially expand operations eastward toward Iran.
The Israeli Air Force is also set to receive an additional 10,000 aerial munitions to replenish depleted stockpiles after 18 months of sustained bombardment on multiple fronts, the report added.
These deliveries are in addition to the heavy weapons package previously purchased from the U.S., which was frozen by the Biden administration and later reactivated by President Donald Trump in recent weeks.
In February 2024, the United States approved the sale of advanced munitions, bombs, and related military equipment to Israel worth $7.41 billion, according to the newspaper.
The U.S. Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) informed Congress that the sales were greenlit to “help maintain Israel’s self-defense capability”—a standard justification that contradicts the brutal reality on the ground in Gaza.
The newly approved package forms part of an even larger arms deal notified to Congress in January 2024—weeks before Trump’s return to the White House—totaling $8 billion.
Among the weaponry funded by American aid, Israel will acquire:

- 3,000 Hellfire missiles valued at $660 million

- 2,166 AGM-114 Hellfire bombs, also worth $660 million

- 2,166 GBU-39 guided bombs

- Approximately 13,000 JDAM guidance kits for various bomb sizes

- 17,475 FMU-152A/B fuzed bombs, in a separate deal valued at $6.75 billion
The Hellfire missile deliveries are expected to begin in 2028, while the remainder of the munitions will start arriving in 2025.
The U.S. Department of Defense stated that the weapons will be sourced from existing American stockpiles and from major arms manufacturers such as Lockheed Martin, Boeing, and L3Harris.
The official Pentagon statement claimed the deal “will not alter the regional balance of power” and is meant to help Israel “protect its borders, critical infrastructure, and civilians.”
Yet under the cover of this unconditional U.S. military support, the Israeli regime has, since October 7, 2023, carried out what many observers and international legal experts are calling a genocide in Gaza.
The Israeli assault has so far resulted in:
