Diplomatic sources have revealed that the UAE has expressed support for U.S. President Donald Trump’s plan for ethnic cleansing and the displacement of Palestinians in Gaza, hoping that it would completely eradicate Palestinian resistance factions.
The sources told Emirates Leaks that the Emirati regime sent identical verbal messages to senior officials in Trump’s administration, signaling Abu Dhabi’s backing for the plan and its willingness to positively influence its implementation, including providing the necessary financial support.
The sources explained that the UAE offered to host a limited number of Gaza’s residents, particularly members of the reformist faction affiliated with Mohammad Dahlan, the UAE president’s special advisor, and their families, as part of executing Trump’s plan.
According to the sources, the UAE believes that the only option capable of destroying the entire Palestinian resistance capabilities and eliminating its forces forever is the displacement of Gaza’s population. This would also resolve the ongoing crises caused by the continuous tension in the region.
The UAE sees Trump’s plan for U.S. “control” over Gaza and the displacement of its Palestinian population as something that may cause short-term tensions but promises a long-term, permanent solution, even if it involves dangerous escalation through forced displacement and ethnic cleansing of Palestinians in Gaza.
Additionally, the UAE conveniently overlooks international humanitarian law, which forbids the permanent forced displacement of inhabitants from occupied territories. Such actions, when carried out with criminal intent, qualify as war crimes. Moreover, if forced displacement is executed as part of a widespread or systematic attack against civilian populations as a state policy, it constitutes a crime against humanity.
The UAE’s circles consider the extensive destruction in Gaza, a policy by Israel, which has rendered large portions of the region uninhabitable. Rebuilding Gaza with Gulf funds is seen as “futile” as long as Hamas and resistance factions remain active, thus potentially reigniting conflict with Israel.
Trump had suggested large-scale displacement of Palestinians and the “control” of Gaza as a possible U.S. policy in light of the widespread destruction there, standing alongside Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, whose government bears responsibility for this policy and is a key ally of the UAE.
Since October 2023, Israeli authorities have orchestrated the deliberate mass forced displacement of Palestinian civilians in Gaza, with some being displaced multiple times. Senior Israeli officials have publicly declared their intentions to expel Palestinian residents from Gaza.
Israeli authorities have also created living conditions designed to destroy part of Gaza’s Palestinian population by deliberately denying them food, water, and essential survival resources, a form of genocidal crime and actions leading to genocide.
Trump’s statements regarding Gaza have been widely rejected, not only by neighboring countries such as Egypt and Jordan but also by many other governments, including Germany, Australia, Ireland, Britain, Brazil, China, and Russia, as well as by the United Nations Human Rights Commission.
Hebrew media outlets had previously revealed details of the UAE’s conspiracy, in coordination with Israel, to suppress Palestinian resistance in Gaza after the war. The plan included managing the region under a ceasefire arrangement and the end of Israeli hostilities.
The information published by Israel Hayom shows that Abu Dhabi initially agreed to take responsibility for managing Gaza post-war. Abu Dhabi aims to rebuild the region in a way that neutralizes any potential threat to Israel.
Diplomatic sources have also revealed the content of the UAE’s conspiracy, prepared in collaboration with Israel, to implement the so-called “post-war plan” for Gaza. The core of this plan is to eliminate resistance in the region.
The sources mentioned that the UAE’s plan involves deploying military contractors (mercenaries) in Gaza, granting Israel supreme authority to manage and monitor the region, while sidelining Hamas and resistance factions in the long term.
