Why is the impact of strikes minimized by focusing on their side effects near targeted sites?
These questions roughly summarize what can be described as the Zionist entity’s extensive censorship of both internal and external media, as well as its blatant control over civilians to prevent them from sharing what they record in real-time.
Technological Collaboration and Media Control
The wide-ranging technological collaboration between Western companies and their counterparts in the Zionist entity plays a significant role in this censorship. American universities, in particular, continuously support the global information technology industry of the Zionist regime, especially in matters of human surveillance, media control, and government manipulation.
This capability has been exploited to obscure the enemy’s battlefield losses, whether in Gaza, Lebanon, or within the occupied territories. This effort began with the ban on publishing the initial videos of the Al-Aqsa Flood operation on October 7, 2023, across Western media outlets and American-controlled social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and others. It extends to the automated suppression of any image, news, or video exposing the significant losses suffered by the Zionist military in any war zone. Were it not for a few television channels that receive materials the occupation’s censorship could not intercept, and some exploited technological loopholes, we would not have seen any images of what is happening—especially those that humiliate the aggressor Zionist army.
Specialized Surveillance Units and Cyber Tools
To achieve this goal, the Zionist entity relies on specialized security units, most notably Unit 8200, which monitors all communications and digital data through surveillance and AI-powered analysis. It also employs companies specializing in cyber-surveillance technologies, such as the NSO Group, the developer of the infamous Pegasus spyware, alongside other Western companies with extensive expertise in this field.
Furthermore, Zionist leaders do not hesitate to place military censors in every internal media outlet and restrict foreign reporters in the occupied territories from working freely, including Al Jazeera correspondents, who report within the limits permitted, of course. All this is done under the pretext of enforcing an emergency law—a relic of the British Emergency Regulations of 1945 that remind humanity of the colonial era and its crimes against oppressed nations.
A Managed Narrative
As a result, the world sees only what the occupation army wants it to see. Unfortunately, this approach has been echoed by some Arab media outlets, which sometimes seem content to highlight the “failure” of the resistance to hit its targets. These outlets often propagate the lie that all missiles are intercepted or fall only in “open areas,” or they conclude their reports with the phrase, “caused no casualties,” a line frequently used by the Zionist entity to cover up its losses.
It is true that today’s liberation war in Palestine and Lebanon is technologically and materially asymmetrical. However, the losses the entity conceals are far more significant, particularly those affecting its internal cohesion, pushing large segments of its population toward reverse migration. Many now recognize that dominance through aggression and oppression is ultimately doomed to fail—sooner or later.
This is the path of victory or martyrdom that the resistance has chosen, and it is triumphant, God willing.
