The Al-Qassam Brigades broadcasted footage of the explosion of a Merkava tank belonging to the occupation in the Al-Khazendar area of Gaza City, using a highly explosive device.
The footage shows Al-Qassam fighters preparing a type 3 Shawath explosive device, with one of them advancing to plant it on the path of the occupation’s vehicles in the area before safely withdrawing.
According to the scenes, an occupation bulldozer was pulling a damaged Tiger troop carrier, which had been previously targeted, followed by a tank to protect the evacuation process.
Interestingly, the occupation’s bulldozer and the damaged troop carrier both passed over the explosive device without triggering it or noticing it. This was followed by the tank passing over it and being directly detonated.
Furthermore, the Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, announced on Friday evening their targeting of a military vehicle and shelling an assembly of Israeli soldiers at the battle fronts in the Gaza Strip.
In a statement, Al-Qassam stated that their fighters targeted “a Zionist troop carrier with a tandem missile near Al-Ameen Mohammad Mosque east of Jabalia refugee camp in the north of the Strip.”
In a second statement, in conjunction with the Omar Al-Qassim Brigades, the military wing of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, they shelled “enemy forces southeast of the Shuja’iyya neighborhood east of Gaza City with mortar shells.”
The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced on Friday that the toll of the genocide against the Palestinians had risen to “43,508 martyrs” since October 7, 2023.
This was reported in the ministry’s statistical report on the victims of the ongoing aggression, which has lasted 399 days on the Gaza Strip and also resulted in more than one hundred thousand injured.
The report noted “an increase in the toll of the Israeli aggression to 43,508 martyrs and 102,684 injured since October 7, 2023.”
The ministry also stated that “the Israeli occupation committed 3 massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, resulting in 39 martyrs and 123 injured reaching hospitals in the past 24 hours.”
It was also mentioned that “a number of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads, and ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach them.”
