She was dragged by her hair and stripped to be paraded for one kilometer. Later she was brutally beaten by the TMC supporters/goons. Rosonara Khatun has submitted her FIR for the same. However, the state police have presented a contrary viewpoint, which the BJP Alleges is an attempt to brush the incident under the carpet.
Thus, they argue that no men were involved and the three women who perpetrated this violence are under arrest. Moreover, the West Bengal police have also arrested the brother-in-law of Khatun who clicked her picture after the assault. And his phone has also been taken away for forensic investigation.
