This comes after the Taliban took control of the Afghan capital, Kabul, following the collapse of the government and the departure of the country’s president, Ashraf Ghani, from the presidential palace outside the country, after which the Taliban fighters laid their hands on the palace and the city.

In a video clip of the official Saudi channel’s interview with Turki Al-Faisal, the latter said: “I would like to make a note about Afghanistan that many people miss, which is what is said that the Taliban are a product of thought, in parentheses, the “Wahhabi.” I like to mention that these belong to The Deobandi school stems from the Hanafi school of thought in the Indian continent, so you should find information about this group of Deobandi in order to know where the Taliban come from. They are not the product of the education of Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab.”
It should be noted that Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab is considered the spiritual father of all criminal takfiri organizations that follow the Wahhabi religion.
Al-Faisal added: “I saw in a book by a former British Foreign Minister, Jack Straw, that the Taliban is a product of the Wahhabi school, which shows the level of lack of knowledge at the highest levels in international centers about who the Taliban are and where they came from.”
