Hezbollah has published footage documenting an operation targeting a house used by Israeli occupation forces in the town of Al-Qawzah in southern Lebanon. The attack was carried out using what the group described as appropriate weaponry, marking part of an ongoing escalation along the southern front.
Earlier, Hezbollah announced that it had conducted 45 attacks using missiles and drones against Israeli settlements, military positions, vehicles, and troop concentrations. In successive statements, the group affirmed that these operations are being carried out in defence of Lebanon and its people, amid continued Israeli aggression on the country since March 2.
Expanded Targeting Across Northern Israel and Southern Lebanon
Hezbollah also reported that its fighters engaged an Israeli warplane over the skies of Beirut using a surface-to-air missile, though it did not disclose the outcome of the interception.
The group stated that it targeted six settlements in northern Israel: Kiryat Shmona, Margaliot, Metula, Nahariya, Shlomi, and Even Menachem. In addition, it launched 32 attacks on Israeli troop gatherings and military vehicles. Of these, 27 strikes were concentrated in southern Lebanon, including in the towns of Al-Qantara, Dibl, and Al-Bayyada. Four additional strikes were carried out inside northern Israel near the settlements of Al-Malkiya and Sa’sa’, as well as at the Maskaf military site.
Ground Engagements and Armoured Targeting
Hezbollah further announced that it had engaged in seven clashes using light and medium weapons with Israeli forces. These confrontations were concentrated in Al-Bayyada, along the road to Al-Qantara, and near the Al-Baraka area east of the town of Beit Lif in southern Lebanon.
The group also stated that it targeted 25 Merkava tanks with guided missiles in multiple locations, including Al-Bayyada, Al-Taybeh, Al-Qantara, Deir Seryan, Dibl, and the Wadi Al-Uyun area in southern Lebanon. It confirmed that these strikes resulted in direct hits.
Additionally, Hezbollah reported targeting Israeli military vehicles with explosive devices in the town of Deir Seryan, resulting in confirmed casualties, according to its statements.
Drone Operations and Information Blackout
Hezbollah also announced that it deployed a swarm of drones to strike Israeli artillery positions in the Giv’at Haim area, east of Kiryat Shmona. Another drone swarm targeted the Meron base, which is used for surveillance and managing aerial operations in northern Israel.
Meanwhile, Israel continues to impose a blackout on the outcomes of Hezbollah’s attacks, enforcing strict media censorship and warning against the publication of images or information related to losses or targeted sites.
