Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs renewed its condemnation of what it described as “blatant Iranian attacks against the Kingdom, Gulf Cooperation Council states, and some Arab and Islamic countries,” and ordered the Iranian military attaché, his assistant, and other diplomatic staff to leave the country.
In a statement, the ministry said that these actions contradict the principles of Islamic brotherhood and the values of Islam that Iran claims to uphold, asserting that such conduct does not reflect its stated positions.
The statement added that the Kingdom has formally notified the military attaché at the Iranian embassy, his assistant, and three other members of the diplomatic mission that they are considered persona non grata and must leave Saudi Arabia within 24 hours.
Since February 28, “Israel” and the United States have been waging a war on Iran, resulting in the deaths of hundreds of people, including Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and security officials, while Tehran has responded with missiles and drones directed toward “Israel.”
In response, Iran has targeted what it describes as U.S. interests in Arab countries, though some of these attacks have led to casualties and damage to civilian infrastructure, drawing condemnation from the affected states.
