The Izz al-Din al Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, released gripping footage showing their fighters carrying out a daring attack on a gathering of Israeli occupation soldiers and armoured vehicles stationed at the Nuns’ School in Tel al-Hawa, Gaza City.
The scenes reveal Qassam fighters positioning themselves close to the occupation’s vehicles before launching the operation. One fighter planted a powerful “Barq” explosive device on the turret of a Merkava tank, detonating it with precision. Soon after, other fighters advanced and successfully placed additional explosive devices on two Israeli armoured personnel carriers, blowing them up.
Following the detonations, fierce close-range clashes erupted. The resistance fighters opened fire on Israeli soldiers gathered beside the vehicles, inflicting casualties before safely withdrawing from the site.
The footage also captured the landing of an Israeli military helicopter, which was dispatched to evacuate the dead and wounded as a result of the operation.
