Major General Ali Fadavi, Deputy Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), declared that Iranian forces are today more prepared than they were just two months ago.
Speaking to Iran’s Tasnim News Agency, Fadavi emphasised that since its founding, the IRGC has consistently prioritised strengthening its combat capabilities — and this effort has never ceased.
“The people themselves witnessed, during the 12-day war, a remarkable growth in the IRGC’s fighting capacity and the tangible results achieved on the battlefield,” he stated, stressing that today’s level of readiness surpasses even recent months.
Iran’s Message to the U.S. and Israel
The announcement comes after the IRGC recently reaffirmed that the Iranian Armed Forces remain on constant alert to deliver what it described as a “decisive response to any threat from the United States, Israel, or their supporters.”
In a pointed warning, the Guard declared that any aggression would be met with retaliation “far harsher than what the warmongering aggressors faced during Operation True Promise 3.”
A statement further noted that, alongside the rest of Iran’s armed forces, the IRGC is “always prepared to deliver a decisive and regret-inducing response to any threat or act of aggression by the United States, the Zionist entity, and their backers.”
No Compromise on Sovereignty
The IRGC underscored that any threat to Iran’s security or territorial integrity will be confronted with a crushing response beyond the imagination of its enemies.
It added that Iran will never surrender to foreign pressure, affirming that all hostile attempts to undermine the Islamic Republic have failed — thanks to the firm leadership of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the unity of the Iranian people, and their unwavering support for the armed forces.
Lessons from the 12-Day War
Reflecting on the recent 12-day confrontation, the Guard described it as a “sacred defense against U.S.–Zionist aggression,” a turning point in Iran’s modern history that highlighted both the bravery of the Iranian people and the resilience of its armed forces in confronting global arrogance.
The IRGC highlighted that Operations “True Promise 3” and “Good News of Victory” forced both the Israeli occupation and Washington to accept a ceasefire — a result it hailed as “a unique achievement amid global threats and pressure.”
“These operations,” the statement continued, “demonstrated high defensive and offensive efficiency, achievable only through wise strategic decisions and disciplined planning.”
