The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has reinforced its commitment to respond forcefully should Israel violate the current ceasefire agreement. Senior IRGC advisor Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi declared that Iran’s missile forces have prepared extensive options to retaliate against any renewed aggression by the Israeli occupation.
Speaking to Iran’s Defence News Agency, Vahidi stressed that “our missile force is in excellent condition to respond to the Zionist enemy” and warned that “if the enemy launches a new attack, a wide range of capabilities will be deployed in response.”
He added, “Our forces have made broad preparations to crush the Zionist enemy, and we are fully capable of doing so.”
When asked specifically about whether the advanced “Qassem Basir” missile might be launched in the event of a new Israeli strike, Vahidi responded that “many capabilities have been readied to counter the enemy.”
Deep Distrust of U.S. Guarantees
Regarding American assurances for maintaining the ceasefire, the IRGC senior advisor was blunt: “We have seen nothing from the United States except aggression, betrayal, and broken promises.”
Signs of Israeli Preparations for New Strikes
Echoing these warnings, Vahid Ahmadi, a member of Iran’s Parliament Committee for National Security and Foreign Policy, pointed to intelligence indicating that Israel is rearming with significant Western military support, led by the United States.
Speaking to the Iranian Young Journalists Club news agency, Ahmadi stated that “Israel’s recent attacks on Iran were paused temporarily to regroup and strengthen its military capabilities.” He revealed that Western countries, particularly the U.S., have been sending weapons and military equipment to Israel via cargo planes.
“These shipments may signal preparations for a new round of aggression against Iran,” Ahmadi cautioned. However, he affirmed that Iran is “fully prepared to confront any possible attack and will respond this time with new and advanced defensive and offensive capabilities.”
Escalating Tensions: From Airstrikes to Drone Retaliations
These latest warnings come amid heightened tensions following Israel’s intense offensive, which began on June 13 and lasted 12 days, with direct U.S. involvement. Israeli operations included precision strikes on military and nuclear sites, civilian infrastructure, and high-profile assassinations of senior military commanders and prominent nuclear scientists.
In response, Tehran launched a series of retaliatory missile and drone attacks targeting Israeli military and intelligence installations inside occupied territories, inflicting significant damage according to official Iranian statements.
American Bases Also Targeted
On June 22, the United States escalated its involvement by striking key facilities inside Iran, claiming to have “eliminated” Iran’s nuclear program. In a swift response, Iran struck the U.S. Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar the very next day — a move Iran described as a “warning shot and a direct message to the United States.”
Just two days later, on June 24, Washington announced that it had brokered an “unconditional ceasefire” between Iran and the Israeli occupation, with international mediation. Tehran, however, made it clear that any future violation of the truce will be met with force.
Dont believe Israel nor USA brother. Please teach them a real lesson. Go and go destroy Israel. Dont let a single Israel soul alive …
