The Al-Qassam Brigades have released striking footage documenting operations carried out against Israeli occupation forces in the Khan Yunis incursion zones. The operations included detonating improvised explosive devices (IEDs) targeting Israeli military vehicles and an attempted capture of an Israeli soldier, in addition to mortar strikes on troop gatherings.
The footage shows fighters planting a powerful explosive device on the route of a ‘Namer’ armoured personnel carrier. The aftermath reveals significant damage to the vehicle following its arrival at the ambush site.
In other scenes, the Brigades reported that they had laid an ambush for an Israeli unit by booby-trapping a tunnel opening. During the encounter, they attempted to capture an Israeli officer who fell into the trap. However, the Israeli military reportedly activated the Hannibal Protocol, bombing the entire area to prevent the officer’s capture, resulting in his death during the operation.
Resistance fighters also targeted an Israeli bulldozer, confirming that two soldiers were wounded after a direct hit with an anti-armour projectile.
