On Tuesday, the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, announced that its fighters struck a 10-soldier Israeli foot patrol in Beit Lahia, northern Gaza Strip, resulting in multiple casualties.
In a statement released via Telegram, the Brigades confirmed:
“After returning from the frontlines, our Mujahideen reported targeting a Zionist foot patrol consisting of 10 soldiers with an anti-personnel shell in the Al-Atatra area of Beit Lahia on May 25.”
The group stated the attack inflicted a combination of deaths and injuries among the Israeli unit.

Ongoing Israeli Atrocities and Escalating Death Toll
Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation army continues its daily massacres throughout the Gaza Strip.
According to a report issued Tuesday by the Ministry of Health in Gaza, the number of Palestinian martyrs has risen to 54,056, with 123,129 injured since October 7, 2023, marking the start of Tel Aviv’s genocidal war against the besieged territory.
In the last 24 hours alone, 79 Palestinians were killed and 163 injured, the report noted. Importantly, these figures exclude casualties from northern Gaza, where Israeli bombardment and blockades have made medical access virtually impossible.
Since Israel resumed its genocidal offensive on March 18, the Ministry has documented an additional 3,901 martyrs and 110,088 injuries.
The Resistance Continues
Despite the scale of destruction, the Palestinian resistance remains active and defiant, executing precise ambushes and asymmetric attacks that continue to inflict casualties on invading Israeli forces. As the war enters its second year, these operations reflect a sustained commitment to resisting occupation, defending Palestinian land, and avenging the blood of Gaza’s martyrs.
