In a bold escalation of regional resistance, the Yemeni Ansar Allah movement (Houthis) has declared the imposition of a comprehensive aerial siege on Israeli airports, with a specific focus on targeting Ben Gurion International Airport, the main gateway to the occupying entity.
The announcement was made by Brigadier General Yahya Saree, spokesperson for the Houthi armed forces, who stated that this strategic shift comes in direct response to Israel’s ongoing and expanding aggression against Gaza.
Saree urged all international airlines to take the warning seriously and immediately cancel all flights to Israeli airports starting from the moment of the announcement, to safeguard the lives of their crews and passengers.

“Yemen Will Not Remain Silent While Arab Towns Are Bombed”
The statement emphasized that “free and sovereign Yemen will never accept the continued violations and desecration committed by the Zionist enemy”, especially in its bombardments of Arab cities such as Lebanon and Syria.
It declared that this Ummah will neither be intimidated by confrontation nor submit to humiliation, reaffirming Yemen’s position as an active part of the regional axis resisting occupation and Zionist expansionism.
Missile Successfully Strikes Ben Gurion Airport
On Sunday, a missile launched from Yemen struck a landing zone inside Ben Gurion Airport in what is being described as a major blow to the Zionist entity’s security infrastructure. Despite boasting multiple advanced air defence systems, Israel failed to intercept the missile.
Footage captured the massive explosion that shook the airport, a critical military and civilian hub for the occupation regime.
According to Hebrew media, both Israel’s “Arrow-3” system and the American “THAAD” missile defence system failed to stop the projectile before impact.
Channel 12 confirmed that the Yemeni missile penetrated four layers of Israeli air defence and detonated in the heart of Ben Gurion Airport, prompting chaos on the ground.
Panic, Alarms, and Flight Suspensions
The missile strike triggered widespread air raid sirens across occupied territories, including Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and multiple illegal settlements in the West Bank.
The event plunged the Zionist entity into a state of panic, and air traffic at Ben Gurion was temporarily suspended.
Shortly after the attack, several international airlines announced the suspension of all flights to Ben Gurion, fearing further escalation and future strikes by the Yemeni resistance.
This latest development marks a new chapter in regional resistance, as Yemen positions itself as a key player in the multi-front challenge against Israeli occupation, reinforcing the growing unity of the Axis of Resistance across Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, and Yemen.
