Rosie Gabrielle announced her converting to Islam on social media, while she shared a story about her converting. She said “Now I am a Muslim, I testify that no one is God but Allah and I testify that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, and I hope to live the rest of my life in peace and safety under the name of Islam.
She explained: “ I hated Islam before, and I strongly hated Muslims, and I was following Far-right politics but the Islamic morals in Pakistan changed my thoughts and my direction.
In a video she shared on a desolate desert road in an Islamic country on the tip of southern Arabia “Oman” when her motorbike got broken, which she uses to travel the world, she had to stay and wait someone to help her on the road, when a car passed by, and two Omani guys stopped and gave her the necessary help by just a hand gesture. They also tried to give her food and water, she thanked them a lot: “It was an amazing thing and tears came out for this unexpected generosity” as she said. Another incident happened in the same country, when an Omani Family invited her over and made her delicious food and they welcomed her with generosity and high manners, surprised from this generosity of Muslims she explained that her stereotyped view of Islam and Muslims had changed.
Also, when she was traveling in Pakistan, she found the same thing, when her bike got broken on a countryside and the villagers helped fixing it and they took her to a gas station, they also paid for the gas, and they invited her to a house, when she arrived they welcomed her with simple food they made from the best they have, even though they were poor. The woman’s touches on her face and cheeks gave her humanistic energy and these feelings affected her whole inner feelings, so that her eyes couldn’t hide her affected feelings, happy in a way couldn’t be described.
After all these repeated incidents that show how these innate Muslims’ manners can’t find words to describe my feelings, how they acted towards a stranger they don’t know, but still welcomed me at their houses between their families. I knew these Muslims are amazing and I started loving them and like their manners. In our country we rarely let a stranger in our house if they don’t know them.
And she added: “The world has to wake up and learn more about Muslims, I pray for my God to inspire people from my experience and be a cause of changing the view of people in the Muslims. I also hope they start treating people the way they like to be treated. “
She converted to Islam after these incidents because it is Islam, she realized their good manners in treating others is because of their religion that commands them to treat people well, that is why she went to a mosque and she asked the Imam there to help her convert to Islam. And then she asked him more about Islam and the requisites of Islam.
Adding to that, Rosie Gabrielle was Far-right politics because she was trying to find something to blame and hold responsible for her failures. And that party helped her put all the blame on Muslims.
Even in university, Rosie didn’t interact with any Muslim, the she started to watch Muslims and see their manners and treatments to her coworkers, indicating that their manners started to change her view about Islam.
