The military correspondent for Channel 13 (Hebrew), Almog Boker, has relayed gripping testimony from occupation soldiers on the level of readiness shown by the Palestinian resistance in the town of Beit Hanoun, located in northern Gaza. Despite the area being nearly flattened by extensive bombing and demolitions, the resistance still managed to set deadly traps for Israeli forces.
Boker explained that soldiers described operating in an environment where the resistance has installed surveillance cameras. He added that “they’ve planted explosive devices in every alleyway, and these devices are detonated from inside the tunnels. The underground network is fully operational.”
He continued:

“For over a week and a half, we haven’t physically seen the fighters themselves. They’ve rigged all of Beit Hanoun with a massive number of explosive devices and remnants of air force bombs.”
Boker also noted:
“Every alley, every intersection is covered with the latest surveillance cameras. Some of them are thermal cameras providing 360-degree coverage.”
He emphasized that the resistance fighters choose their targets carefully. They observe movement via the cameras and only detonate the explosives when Israeli ground forces are present, while withholding activation if a drone is spotted in the area.
Furthermore, once explosives are detonated against the soldiers and the occupation’s backup units rush in, resistance fighters emerge to fire directly upon those arriving forces.
