Hezbollah reaffirmed its commitment to monitoring the withdrawal of Israeli occupation forces from Lebanese territories with “fighters’ fingers on the trigger,” pledging to continue its steadfast support for the “Mujahideen in Palestine.”
The statement emphasized that its fighters’ eyes “will continue to monitor the movements and withdrawals of the enemy forces beyond the borders, and their fingers will remain on the trigger, defending Lebanon’s sovereignty and upholding the dignity and honor of its people.”

The group continued by stating: “The Islamic Resistance, which has offered its finest leaders and fighters in the path of Allah, in defense of its land and people, and in support of the oppressed in Palestine, today sends its salute of arms, jihad, martyrdom, and victory to you, to all the free people of the world, and to the Mujahideen in the battlefields. It pledges, on behalf of its fighters and knights, to honor the sacrifices of the pure souls and sacred blood by continuing the path of resistance with greater determination, standing unwaveringly by the oppressed, the vulnerable, and the Mujahideen in Palestine, with its capital, Al-Quds Al-Sharif, remaining the symbol and path for generations dreaming of freedom and liberation.”
Ceasefire Agreement
The ceasefire agreement between Hezbollah and the Israeli occupation went into effect at 4 a.m. Wednesday, following confrontations that began in October 2023. These escalated into a brutal aggression and ground invasion over the past two months, resulting in thousands of martyrs and injured civilians.
Key provisions of the agreement include the facilitation of its implementation by Washington and Paris. It mandates the withdrawal of Israeli occupation forces from southern Lebanon within 60 days, during which the Lebanese army will deploy along the border, crossing points, and the southern region.
Lebanese forces will become the sole entity authorized to bear arms in southern Lebanon, with military infrastructure dismantled, unauthorized weapons confiscated, and compliance ensured. However, the agreement retains the inherent right of both Israel and Lebanon to self-defense.
