This announcement coincided with the Israeli military’s acknowledgment of the death of four soldiers during combat in Jabalia. However, it remains unclear whether these soldiers were part of the same group targeted by Al-Qassam Brigades in the ambush.
Additionally, Al-Qassam issued several statements detailing attacks on Israeli military vehicles and troop concentrations in various combat zones in northern Gaza. In separate statements, Al-Qassam reported that its fighters targeted two “Merkava” tanks with explosives and a “Yassin 105” shell, along with an Israeli bulldozer struck by a tandem warhead shell in the neighborhoods of Tel al-Zaatar and the Jabalia refugee camp.
In another statement, the Brigades claimed responsibility for sniping an Israeli soldier and attacking a foot patrol with two anti-personnel shells, causing casualties among the soldiers in Jabalia, northern Gaza.
