Hebrew-language accounts have broadcast drone footage capturing the evacuation of five Israeli soldiers’ bodies following a Hezbollah ambush in a village in southern Lebanon.
The footage reveals a large contingent of soldiers transporting the bodies from among Lebanese homes in the village, with transport vehicles and tanks encircling the area.

According to Hebrew media, around 20 Israeli soldiers were caught in the ambush set by Hezbollah fighters in the undisclosed village, resulting in the deaths of five soldiers and injuries to 15 others, several of whom sustained serious wounds. This incident marks one of the most significant losses for the Israeli army since the onset of its aggression against Lebanon.
The death toll among Israeli forces in October alone has risen to 71 soldiers and settlers across fronts in Gaza, Lebanon, the West Bank, and an additional attack from Iraq.
Just two days ago, 13 Israeli soldiers were killed, ten of them in southern Lebanon during a rocket strike on a house where they were taking cover, and three others in Jabalia after their tank was destroyed by a powerful explosive device.
To date, the overall toll acknowledged by the Israeli army stands at 770 officers and soldiers killed across multiple fronts.
