The French news agency “AFP” has reported, quoting a source close to Lebanon’s Hezbollah, that the body of the Secretary-General, Hassan Nasrallah, has been temporarily buried in a “secret” location.
The source mentioned that Hezbollah’s leadership decided to bury Nasrallah’s body temporarily due to the difficulty of holding a public funeral amid the current circumstances, as a result of the intense Israeli airstrikes.

The source also noted that Hezbollah had sought international guarantees to ensure that Nasrallah’s funeral procession would not be targeted by the Israeli occupation, but these requests were ignored.
It is expected that an unprecedented funeral will be held for Nasrallah in the southern suburbs of Beirut if the intensity of Israeli airstrikes subsides.
On Friday, a memorial service was held in the Iranian capital, Tehran, with the participation of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, and a massive turnout.
