The Al-Qassam Brigades released compelling footage of a complex ambush they executed against Israeli occupation forces in the Al-Fukhari area, east of Khan Younis (Gaza). During the operation, they successfully destroyed several tanks, bulldozers, and a military excavator that were searching for tunnels.
The scenes depict Al-Qassam’s surveillance of the occupation forces stationed near the separation fence with the territories occupied in 1948. One of the fighters, from within a tunnel, sent a message saying, “This ambush is a gift to the martyr, God willing, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, after the cowardly assassination carried out by the occupation against him, and a gift to all the martyrs of Lebanon and Palestine.”

Al-Qassam fighters emerged to attack an Israeli engineering excavator from one of the tunnels, striking it with a Yassin missile. The footage continues, showing the targeting of Israeli tanks and bulldozers, with some soldiers standing nearby.
Despite the direct gunfire aimed at the fighters from the tanks, one of the fighters managed to strike a tank directly before retreating from the area.
Additionally, Al-Qassam detonated a minefield they had prepared in advance for the Israeli vehicles in the area. The footage shows flames rising from one of the vehicles and bulldozers towing a destroyed Merkava tank that had been hit during the ambush.
