Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman stated that the Kingdom will not halt efforts toward the establishment of a Palestinian state, emphasizing that the Palestinian cause remains a top priority for Saudi Arabia.

He added that the Kingdom will not establish diplomatic relations with Israel without the creation of an independent Palestinian state, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), this was mentioned during Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s speech at the opening of the first year of the ninth session of the Shura Council, on behalf of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. During his speech, he reiterated the Kingdom’s firm rejection and strong condemnation of Israeli occupation crimes against the Palestinian people, which ignore international and humanitarian law in yet another chapter of suffering.
Prince Mohammed bin Salman stressed that Saudi Arabia will continue its diligent efforts toward the establishment of an independent Palestinian state, with East Jerusalem as its capital. He expressed gratitude to the countries that have recognized the Palestinian state as a reflection of international legitimacy, urging other nations to take similar steps.
The Crown Prince also thanked the countries that have recognized Palestine and encouraged others to follow suit, emphasizing the importance of avoiding the use of force to resolve conflicts.
Additionally, he reaffirmed the significance of good neighborly relations and reiterated that Saudi Arabia will not stop its efforts toward the establishment of a Palestinian state.
