Al-Qassam Brigades have released footage of an ambush they set for occupation forces about 8 months ago near Al-Bara’ Mosque in Tel al-Hawa, southwest of Gaza City.
The footage shows Al-Qassam fighters preparing the ambush site in December 2023 by planting explosives and mines. The fighters had been waiting in combat positions since then for the occupation forces to arrive.
According to the footage, the fighters monitored the occupation forces using a drone and surveillance cameras in the targeted area. They attacked an occupation command and control center with an anti-fortification missile.
When an armored force from the occupation arrived at the ambush site and ground troops advanced, the fighters detonated a “Shawaz” explosive, killing and injuring several soldiers. They then detonated another anti-personnel explosive targeting the remaining soldiers.
Some soldiers fled to a tank, which was directly hit by a “Yassin 105” missile fired by an Al-Qassam fighter.
Al-Qassam fighters also detonated an explosive targeting another occupation force attempting to advance toward the rubble of a mosque, resulting in more casualties.
