The Israeli broadcasting authority “KAN” reported that the UAE has set one condition for participating in the reconstruction of Gaza after the war, which is the establishment of a single state that controls both Gaza and the West Bank.
According to the same source, the Emirati vision was presented to Mansour Abbas, head of the United Arab List in the Israeli Knesset, who visited the UAE last Thursday.

Informed officials about the content of Abbas’s meetings in the UAE stated that the central topics discussed included the need to halt the war in Gaza, the release of Israeli captives, and post-war economic projects in the Arab community that the UAE intends to support once the situation calms down. It is noted that Abbas’s visit was not coordinated with the Israeli Foreign Ministry or the Prime Minister’s Office, but directly with Emirati officials.
These officials mentioned that like other international entities, the UAE feels frustrated by the lack of a political horizon to end the war and the absence of an organized plan from the current Israeli government for the day after the war. According to them, Abu Dhabi would be ready to participate in managing and rebuilding Gaza immediately after the war, only if there is one Palestinian state controlling both Gaza and the West Bank.
As per the Emirati vision, there must be a broad Palestinian technocratic government in Gaza that is non-political and receives support from all factions in the Palestinian arena.
