The military media of the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas, has released a video targeting Israeli soldiers, titled “This Awaits You Upon Entering Gaza.”
In the video, which lasts for 1 minute and 20 seconds, al-Qassam fighters are seen emerging from underground tunnels armed with their weapons. They proceed to attack Israeli army tanks, destroying some of them, while commandeering others and capturing Israeli soldiers within them. They then return with the captured soldiers to the same tunnels they emerged from at the beginning of the video.
The release of this video by al-Qassam Brigades comes shortly after their announcement of introducing new Yassin rockets into service. This occurs amid growing expectations of the Israeli army launching a ground invasion, following eight days of heavy shelling on the Gaza Strip. This escalation in response to the significant losses suffered by Israel during the “Al-Aqsa Tempest” operation carried out by al-Qassam on the seventh of this month.
