A wave of reactions swept the social networking sites in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia after the name of the Wahhabi sheikh, Nasser Al-Din Al-Albani, was included in a report by the Saudi Al-Ekhbariya channel talking about “terrorist groups”.
The report stated that “Nasir al-Din al-Albani is the founder of the Ahl al-Hadith group, from which other groups emerged, most notably the Al-Hasbah Salafi Group, whose members contributed to encroaching on the tasks of the state and carrying out the work of the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice.”
The report also talked about the “Juhayman” or “Salafist Group,” whose members “prefer to be called Ahl al-Hadith, which began with an advocacy idea and ended with the occupation of the Grand Mosque,” according to the report.

A man who attributed himself to science and scholars, hadith and hadiths falsely and slanderously, so he released his tongue and his pen without knowledge, and through his fatwas sowed discord and spread hatred, enmity and hatred among Muslims, he is the watchmaker called (Nasir al-Din al-Albani) who sufficed himself in responding to him as he described himself as working as a watchmaker, and his hobby was reading books without receiving knowledge from his family and without having a reliable chain of narrators in it, so he floundered here and there among the books and attributed himself to the predecessors while opposing them in the doctrine and jurisprudence rulings.
He claimed that he is one of the hadith scholars, and he did not memorize a single hadith with a chain of transmission linked to the Messenger of Allah, peace, and blessings be upon him.
Then how can he be a muhaddith while he corrects hadiths in his books and judges them as weak in other places and vice versa, and attacks the scholars of hadiths with contemptuous and cynical expressions, yet he is arrogant, arguing and arguing with falsehood for his whims, so he dares to Bukhari and Muslim and others, and weaken the hadiths that gather to preserve Its authenticity, in this way, he deviated from the majority of the Muhammadan nation of Ash’aris and Maturidis, who falsely and slanderously claimed that they were people of heresy, Glory be to you, our Lord, this is a great slander.
It is also a deviation from the condition stipulated by hadith scholars, because correction and weakening is the function of the hafiz, and many of them have stated this in their books, and it is sufficient for this to be said by al-Hafiz al-Suyuti in Alfiyyah al-Hadith:
And take it where a text is preserved on it *** or from a compiler whose collection it is specific.
How dare he, with his distance from the eligibility for correction and weakness, as the distance of heaven from earth, to name some of his authentic works (meaning that he collected in the only authentic hadiths) and some of them are weak.
What is this boldness and rudeness that this man is characterized by, as he deluded his students who were blinded by Allah that he is one of the people of correction and weakness, even though he admitted in some of his meetings that he is not a hafiz, if this man had read the books of hadith, he would have known that correction is not the job of the muhaddith, nor whoever is below him, and it is known that the hafiz is the one who has the function of correcting and weakening, as we have explained.

So the man said, “I can narrate from a book.” So I silenced him.
Woe to those who imitate him from his followers who are busy commenting on the books of the hadith, Muhammad Shaqra, Omar Al-Ashqar, Salim Al-Hilali, and others.

Among them is Al-Qanouji who said in his book falsely called (The Pure Religion) p.140 (Taqliding the madhhabs is polytheism), Allah forbid.
Among the misguidances of this al-Albani spokeswoman are strange and weird sayings, including the following:
Al-Albani’s abnormality in the belief and the issue of the word of Allah, and the abnormality of Al-Albani in the issue of interpretation.
Al-Albani’s denial of Bukhari’s interpretation.
Al-Albani claims that whoever speaks of unbelief or disbelieves indeed comes under the rule of compulsion.

Al-Albani claims that it is not permissible to increase the Talbiyah after meeting the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him (1).
Al-Albani considers the Prophet, may Allah’s prayers and peace be upon him, to be misguided, just as he considers the benefactors of prophets and saints misguided.
